A potted plant is an obstacle that takes the form of a broken vase lying horizontally on the ground with its bottom and parts of its sides missing. Inside this vase is a stem growing from a clump of dirt covered by its roots. Because the pot is tipped over, the plant's long stem and leaf are sprawled out on the ground. There is nothing that can be done at the bottom side of the pot since there's only dirt, but from the top side, Pikmin can pull on the plant until the dirt crumbles and the roots are freed, and the Pikmin themselves are knocked to the ground from the sudden release. With the obstacle removed, leaders and Pikmin are free to walk through either side of the obstacle.
