Dark Pikmin, also known as Black Pikmin, are Pikmin species in Pikmin 2... Again? that are unseen in shadows and can easily avoid being seen by predators. It is first found in the Ominous Underground. They have blue petals and distinct glowing cyan eyes. Rather than their speed increasing as they mature or if ultra-spicy spray is used on them, advancing in maturity increases the damage they inflict every hit. However, they have a lower digging speed, don't fly as far as the other types when thrown, and die sooner to other hazards. Notably, Dark Pikmin are immune to the effects of wither.
The Dark Pikmin appears in Pikmin 18,000,000,011 as the Pikmin type used only by Dark Olimar.

The Dark Pikmin's have those cyan glwoing unique eyes, White Pikmin also have eyes fully of a color, but they don't are fully the same. Dark Pikmin are resistant to what i call "wither", which already i struggle to know everything about even the days of today. They are sneaky, reminds me of some peoples i know... Actually, makes sense, if you are black, then nobody will see you on the dark! Well, their attack seems lacking, but until as their leaves grow into buds and then flowers which their attack increases each to get from weak to strong, however, also they don't get speed due to focusing on damage instead of speed, apparently it has its costs, but more costs apparently are also them being bad at digging, flying for some reason lower when thrown and also as i noticed they die sooner to things like being on fire, drowing and much more. But they sound interesting, based those new creatures all seem strange... Maybe the Dark Pikmin can have much more i don't know? I would call it "Black Pikmin", but apparently that fashion of calling them by their fashion ended so i thought on "Dark Pikmin", which actually fits, can hide in the dark, when i think about it.}}
