Galctic Warpzone is the final cave you'll enter in Merciless Mountains and the final cave in the game Pikmin:The After Years. This is  the toughest cave in the game. The final boss Dark Virus resides here. There are 25 sublevels with 25 treasures located here. On every floor, except for the four rest areas, there is a boss that you've faced that needs to be defeated. the catch is that all the bosses have been infused with Dark Matter, making it a stronger opponent. Each dark boss also has a new attack along with its old ones. You are allowed to use the Onion Call in this cave, but it won't be much help as the bosses corpses will just disintigrate into Dark Matter. Also, every time you enter the cave, the boss encounters are switched. (Example: One time you may fight a Dark Giant Breadbug on Sublevel 7, but the next time you come in the cave, you may fight it on Sublevl 13!).

The cave consists of thirty-five sublevels and treasures. On every sublevel, except for the five rest sublevels, there is a boss that must be defeated to progress; the catch is that each one has been infused with dark matter, if not already, making them stronger opponents and enabling them to use a new, unique attack in addition to its existing ones. While it is possible to use the Onion Call, it won't be of much use against the bosses as they disintegrate into dark matter upon defeat instead of leaving a corpse. Furthermore, every time the cave is explored, the boss order is shuffled, although the positions of the rest sublevels and Dark Virus' sublevel remain the same.
