A valve is an interactable object that connects to and turns off sprinklers. However, the valve must first be built with raw materials, after which it can turned by 12 Pikmin to shut off the sprinklers.

Valves appear in Pikmin V as already-completed objects. Instead of a sprinkler, they connect to one of a fire burner, exposed wire, gas pipe, or leaky pipe, and can be turned with 10 Pikmin to shut the hazard off. As none of these hazards can be destroyed, this is the only means of removing them; they are usually found beyond where the hazard is located and require the appropriate Pikmin type to de-activate them.
