The Emperor Scworpion is a large scworpion, and the fourth major boss in Pikmin 4 (BallsAngus version). It resembles a giant scorpion and has a black exoskeleton, red eyes, two large claws, eight legs, and a glowing, purple stinger at the end of its tail. The battle against it marks where the difficulty of the game spikes up.
Because the beast's exoskeleton is impossible to break, the stinger is the target. When enough damage is dealt to the stinger, it will burst into poison, endangering all Pikmin exposed except White Pikmin. Additionally, the Emperor Scworpion's abdomen will become open to attack for a short time before it closes up again.

- “This species of scworpion dig nests for female scworpions, usually in hollow rocks. They tend to live in high areas, preferably canyons. Then the creature waits for prey, then ambushes it and takes the food to the female. Being the largest species of scworpion, it eats smaller animals, even its own kind. It also has a stinger, used to paralyze prey. However, its poison is enough to kill small creatures such as Pikmin, or even Hocotatians! Its claws are terrifying, although it only uses them occasionally for offense. They are actually for fighting against another scworpion for females.”
