The Galactic Warpzone is the last and toughest cave of Merciless Mountains and in Pikmin: The After Years, and where the Dark Virus resides. The cave consists of thirty-five sublevels and treasures. On every sublevel, except for the five rest sublevels, there is a boss that must be defeated to progress; the catch is that each one has been infused with dark matter, if not already, making them stronger opponents and enabling them to use a new, unique attack in addition to its existing ones. While it is possible to use the Onion Call, it won't be of much use against the bosses as they disintegrate into dark matter upon defeat instead of leaving a corpse. Furthermore, every time the cave is explored, the boss order is shuffled, although the positions of the rest sublevels and Dark Virus' sublevel remain the same.
