Its markings and general features are similar to those of the [[Ghostly Bulborb]], [[Dwarf Ghostly Bulborb]], and [[Ghastly Emperor Bulblax]], but its body is much larger, elongated, and composed of five distinct segments; its comparatively tiny legs dangle above the ground. The Ghastly Empress Bulblax appears in Pikmin: The After Years as the spirit of a deceased Empress Bulblax, a grub-dog matriarch.
