Illuminant Breadbugs are a species of breadbug in Pikmin: Attack of the Breadbugs that exhibit the unnatural ability to glow even in complete darkness. Illuminant Breadbugs are completely harmless but do provide a good source of light, and Pikmin seeds. There are only three Illuminant Breadbugs in the Hidden Territory, but they spawn rarely in the Spark Territory. They wander about the area, providing a brilliant, pale yellow light from their white bodies wherever they tread. They have no dens and do not drag objects, although they mischievously pull them around. The only threat that Illuminant Breadbugs pose is also pushing Pikmin around, which can be dangerous if a crowd of Pikmin are near a hazard such as fire. Illuminant Breadbugs will not hesitate to wander in and under water.
