Silver Pikmin again appear in Pikmin: Connection of the Worlds, but are completely different than in Pikmin: Gold/Silver/Bronze. A unique feature among all other Pikmin is that they now have wings. If you throw then in the air, they will fly. Whistle at them, and they will go under your control, but if you whistle at them again, they will quit flying. They can also carry objects through the air, but this can turn out to be quite difficult. Why? Because since they carry it through the air, ''more'' Pikmin are needed. Possible scenario: You need to collect a 10-weight treasure across a small chasm. Only Silver Pikmin can get it. When the Pikmin surround it, ''30'' are required to lift it. You need 3x more Pikmin for whatever you need to carry. However, some treasures are very heavy, so use a [[Dual Bud]] to get it. Combination: Purple Pikmin + Silver Pikmin. Also, they have light power, so it's useful for defeating enemies like a [[Ghostly Bulborb]]. That's basically all you need to know. However, their Onion is silver, and Silver Pikmin have the different stages, too.
