The Spiked Electrocution Breadbug is the boss of the Spark Territory in Pikmin: Attack of the Breadbugs. It resembles an ordinary Giant Breadbug but has an indestructible spiked shell and claws on its feet. Unlike other breadbugs, the Spiked Electrocution Breadbug prefers to establish its dens on walls rather than the ground. After entering, a winding slope leads to the creature's roughly circular abode, where it can be seen sleeping. The arena also has slopes leading up to its walls. When its face is attacked, it utters a grunt, stands up, and abruptly turns to, walks towards, and scales the nearest wall. Pikmin that are thrown at its shell proper will be impaled on it, but can be whistled to safety before they succumb. Once it reaches the ceiling, it positions itself over Olimar and his Pikmin and falls to the ground, indicated by its growing shadow, hoping to crush them. Its weight combined with the soft ground and its spikes will cause it to become stuck partway into the ground; use this opportunity to attack its soft stomach. After depleting one-fourth of its health, the creature will electrify itself only while upright; after depleting half of its health, it will electrify itself only while vulnerable, necessitating attacking with Yellow Pikmin; after depleting three-fourths of its health, the Spiked Electrocution Breadbug will electrify itself at all times until defeated. Once the Spiked Electrocution Breadbug is defeated, it succumbs as a Giant Breadbug would and can be carried by any Pikmin type.
