It is what could be considered the breadbug counterpart of the [[grub-dog family]]'s [[Emperor Bulblax]], and fights alongside the [[Empress Breadbug]] in the [[Land of Wonders|Loaf Territory]], where both breadbugs are fought at the same time. The Emperor Breadbug is initially partially buried in the earth, only a portion of the top of its blubber visible, easily mistakable as a simple mound. When it is stood on by [[Captain Olimar]] or [[Pikmin family|Pikmin]] long enough, the creature and the ground around it will shake and tremble as it emerges from the ground, and jumps up to fully reveal itself.
