The '''Shadowy Progg''' is a mysterious creature in ''[[Pikmin: The Rising Darkness]]'' that is encountered only once, on the final sublevel of the [[Demon's Den]], initially contained within a huge black egg. This creature is very similar in appearance to the [[Smoky Progg]] but is entirely black with ghostly grey eyes. Much like the [[Waterwraith]], this creature is believed to be an interdimensional life form trapped in a state of existence in two dimensions. This creature baffles science, as only one instance has been recorded, which leaves two theories: it is either a mere psychic phenomenon caused by fear and unease, or it is an abundant species in another dimension and became trapped between two dimensions due to the Demon's Den's high levels of psychic energy. | |||
