Flukeweeds are plants that appear as curly pink sprouts and serve as obstacles. Most Pikmin types can not interact with them, but Winged Pikmin will try to pull them out of the ground, often revealing something like a pellet, some sheargrubs, a fruit, or even an Onion attached to their roots. When holding on, the Pikmin tug together at regular intervals, but if they are insufficient, this action will do nothing to the plant. If there are enough Pikmin on it, however, each tug will gradually weaken it, to the point at which point the plant pops out of the ground, drops its content, and then disappears. Generally, Flukeweeds containing valuable items like fruit need more Winged Pikmin to uproot, but only five can be assigned to a Flukeweed at a time.

Flukeweeds are plants that appear as curly pink sprouts and serve as obstacles. Most Pikmin types can not interact with them, but Winged Pikmin will try to uproot them, often revealing something like a pellet, some sheargrubs, a fruit, or even an Onion attached to their roots. When holding on, the Pikmin tug together at regular intervals, but if they are insufficient, this action will do nothing to the plant. If there are enough Pikmin on it, however, each tug will gradually weaken it, to the point at which point the plant pops out of the ground, drops its content, and then disappears. Generally, Flukeweeds concealing more valuable items need more Winged Pikmin to uproot.
