The Acidic Blowhog is a creature in Pikmin: Sinister Incinerator that evolved from genetic mutations in certain Watery Blowhog specimens, which, in themselves, were born from mutations in Fiery Blowhogs. The chemicals in the Acidic Blowhog, however, are highly acidic and although they do not combust upon contact with open air, they a successful defense mechanism for repelling creatures such as larger predators or swarms of Pikmin. Green Pikmin are invaluable when fighting them. They look just like other land-based blowhogs, only with a green-tipped trunk.
