Story
Title
A grassy field lies below the camera, with a ship lying on its side, smoke rising into the sky as the forest parts to reveal Olimar with a backpack. This background may change depending on which endings the player has gotten or by finding certain objects.
Prologue
The screen fades from black to show a deep, dark blue sky as a ship begins falling and crashes into the surface world.
“I was sent on a mission to PNF-404.”
“My employer sent me back on a mission to heal the ties between nearby planets...”
The screen transitions to a new scene, showing Olimar, staring out.
“And I have crashed once again. The piloting AI of this new ship is... Not very enjoyable, to say the least.”
The screen transitions once more.
“I am... Captain Olimar. Sent out alone on this diverse planet.”
“!! ALERT !! New Message!” – The Ship, Kazpo 18.
The ship then guides the player through using the toolbar at the bottom of the screen.
