Fall of Pikmin is the first game in the Extinction timeline by Terminating Sheargrub. The game features new Pikmin types and positions Louie as the main character.
Plot
The Pikmin population is declining and Olimar is on vacation with his family. So Louie decides on willing to help the Pikmin species and goes on the ship to reach PNF-404. Once Louie arrives, he finds a mutation in the Pikmin genes and sees that some parasites are taking over the vital organs. He meets a Pikmin called Violet, who can help him find a cure by collecting herbs and fruits.
Eventually, they gathered enough items to create a cure, but an Energystool stops them, and poisons the cure. They eventually kill him but realize that they made too few cures and many Pikmin became seriously ill.
