Story
After Captain Olimar's long time on PNF-404, Hocotate Freight's President has become more hungry for Pokos than ever. He sends Captain Olimar and Louie back to PNF-404 to retrieve more gold from the planet, with him demanding at least 
1000 Pokos of gold.
Beginning
Captain Olimar and Louie enter the Forest of Hope, and take steps looking everywhere for any kind of Pikmin. They then get ambushed by a Bulborb! But then the Red Pikmin come and defeat it. Olimar smiles greatly at them and the pikmin wave and follow there leader. Olimar then looks behind him not seeing Louie! Louie walked off somewhere, The Red Pikmin show Olimar a great pile of gold! Next to it is the Red Onion, witch Olimar uses to get more red pikmin and collects the gold. Olimar then finds Louie next to a Big Bulborb! Olimar sends his pikmin to attack it and defeats it, dropping a giant piece of gold! after olimar and louie collect it they head back to the ship and leave before dark.
The Gold Hunt
Captain Olimar, Louie, And the Pikmin go back to the forest of hope in search for more gold, they don't find any gold but they do find something else. a odd cube witch holds lots of pokos! Olimar and Louie need to find the Cubes, Gold Nuggets, and Gold Pieces. Olimar and Louie find explore and collect gold until they come across a Green Onion that holds the Grass Pikmin. and collect more gold before leaving. Olimar and Louie go to lots of places: The Blossoming arcadia, the perplexing pool, The Forest Navel, and the Hero's Hideaway. Collecting more gold than ever and finding more pikmin!
