Buildings in Pikmin: Antarctic Survival are structures that are constructed in the Diamond Settlement by its residents throughout the course of the game. These buildings are constructed out of different materials to serve various roles, including providing residence, food, resources, and services to the settlement. At the beginning of the game, very few of the game's buildings are unlocked, but they unlock frequently throughout the game as various requirements are met, such as reaching a given settlement level.

The amount of buildings in the settlement that can be constructed is limited by the amount of building space in the settlement, with larger buildings occupying more space. If there is no free space left, buildings cannot be constructed until more space becomes available, whether by flattening new territory and clearing it of snow, or demolishing existing buildings to free up the space. At the beginning of the game, the Diamond Settlement has ten free blocks of building space, and ten blocks which are covered in snow and must be cleared before construction. A block of snowed space can be cleared by a settlement resident, which uses the resident's daily action for that day. The amount of space in the settlement can be increased by use of the “Flatten Ground” action, an action that is provided exclusively by Furienne. Each time this action is used, a cost of ultra-spicy berries must be paid, which will then be consumed and the amount of snowed space available to the Diamond Settlement will be increased by ten blocks.

There is no hard limit to the amount of buildings that can be constructed in the Diamond Settlement. However, the total blocks of space available in the Diamond Settlement, counting occupied, usable, and snowed space, can never exceed one thousand.

Buildings' build costs typically include requirements of a number of bricks, doors, windows, and an amount of building time to be provided in construction. Many buildings also have additional cost requirements of one or more resources of some other type.

The ability to upgrade settlement buildings is unlocked at settlement level 3. This feature allows a constructed building to be improved with an additional cost of resources and construction time, and upon completion will improve the building's provided function. Buildings unlock a second upgrade level at settlement level 4, and a third upgrade level at settlement level 5. One thing to note is that not all buildings have all three upgrade levels. Many buildings only have one or two levels of upgrades, and some of them cannot be upgraded at all.

Below is a list of buildings which can be constructed in Pikmin: Antarctic Survival.
