The Young Yellow Wollyhop, officially named the Young Yellow Wollywog, is the transitional form between a Wolpole and a Yellow Wollyhop. When on land, it moves and attacks by hopping forward in the same direction, crushing any Pikmin that it lands on but not deliberately trying to kill them. When it's in water, it swims back and forth.

Attacks Crushes Pikmin

The Young Yellow Wollywog is a returning species of amphituber in Pikmin: Decayed Leaf. Being the transition between a Wogpole and a Yellow Wollywog, the creature resembles its original variant in Hey! Pikmin. The creature will hop around idly, waiting for Pikmin to approach. If the frog spots Pikmin, it will begin to hop toward them. The Wollywog does not intentionally want to kill Pikmin, but if it gets near Pikmin when it hops, they will be flung back and crushed by the Wollywog. The Young Wollywog is weak and can be easily killed.

Notes

Olimar's notes

The Young Yellow Wollywog is the development phase between a Wogpole and a Yellow Wollywog. Still being quite young, the frog is typically found around its parents. Most younger Wollywogs have not been taught self-preservation by their mothers, and have approached just about any creature with no fear. Due to this, the Wollywog population is not the biggest, with most of the fatalities happening during the tadpole or juvenile phase.

Louie's notes

This small creature can be fried and covered in buttered salt to make a new type of popcorn for a carnivore.

President’s notes

Once I saw these cute guys, I didn't think they would be of any harm! I guess its cute face kind of distracted me from all our flattened Pikmin... whoops...
