After the Hocotate Freight is saved from there financial issue Olimar continued working at the Freight until he, along with Louie and the President were arrested by the local authorities. They were informed of a new plague starting that is thought to have originated from the Pikmin Planet. The president suddenly tells the authorities that they can find the cure. Later Olimar along with Louie are sent back to the planet to find a cure even though they have no idea where or what the cure is.
