Pikpad

In Pikmin Sunshine, the captains get a new device called a Pikpad. The Pikpad has features a lot like those of the Piktop in Pikmin Forever.

  • Camera and microphone – the Pikpad has a camera much like the KopPad's. It recognizes certain targets, like Pikmin or enemies, and when the picture is taken, it sends the picture to the corresponding article in the Piklopedia. It also has a microphone function that certain noises can be recorded using, and when the device recognizes it, the sound is sent to its corresponding article too.
  • Free day article maker – at the end of each day, one of the leaders writes a log. It also displays links to the Piklopedia when the S.S. Drake scans the article.
