This peculiar Mawdad is a close relative of the Tombcarver Mawdad, but spews liquid crystal instead of Acid, similar to the Calcifus Dweevil. While it has impenetrable armor on its head, the same can not be said for the rest of its body. It serves as the boss of Quinacridone Quarry, and as such you should've at least discovered Rock Pikmin by now, as well as Magenta Pikmin.
