The Crystaltongue Wollywog is an amphituber in Pikmin: Dual Worlds that is quite unlike others of its kind, for it has a much more visible mouth. It can open its mouth wide as well to make way for its elastic tongue, the tip of which is covered in crystal, making it useful for crushing and eating Pikmin. Its tongue remains in the open for a short time after being thrust out before retracting just as swiftly, knocking leaders and Pikmin hit directly by the nodule a fair distance away. If the nodule coating the tongue is smashed, the Crystaltongue Wollywog becomes much more aggressive, jumping or licking twice in succession. To defeat it, dodge its tongue and attack its main body. Some Crystaltongue Wollywogs accidentally wrap their tongues in foil, allowing Magnetic Pikmin to use them as makeshift bridges.
