In Pikmin: Dual Worlds, the Cellular Clamclamp is, in every regard but one, identical to the average Pearly Clamclamp. However, it is much more dangerous than its counterpart; the sole difference is that the Daughter Goolix within is significantly more developed than in other Pearly Clamclamps, and is almost ready to leave the Pearly Clamclamp and venture out into the wilderness. As a result of this development, its membrane is much larger than in an average Daughter Goolix, not to mention its nucleus. Due to this, it is capable of pulling prey into the maw of the Cellular Clamclamp on its own, rather than simply relying on luring it in with its allure. In addition, it can drag the Clamclamp around in search of more food. It isn't acidic or poisonous, unlike its amber-hued relative, but it is regardless able to digest any beings that happen to drown in it. This unrooted nature happens to carry a weakness with it, however–unlike the Pearly Clamclamp, it can be lifted and carried to other locations. While this is typically a rather dangerous tactic, if exposed to poison, electricity, acid, or water, the Daughter Goolix will die rather quickly.
