These Pikmin are black and blank. Their eyes are lime green. They can close dangerous Dimensional Rifts that lead to the depths of space. They can also open safe ones, that lead to a sort of Dark World, if there are enough of them in certain spots, and only if they have flowered, the only way to flower them being to have them close a rift by absorbing it's energy, essentially turning them into wormholes in jars or portal batteries. It takes a certain number of Dimensional Pikmin, or Darkmin for short, based on their Dark World abilities. White Pikmin can see objects buried underground, but these can see objects that aren't there, or at least aren't there until they start carrying it. They act like a sort of dimensional anchor, bringing objects out of the void between dimensions. They play a major role in Pikmin: Dual Worlds. The amount of nutrients required to sprout any is so incredible that the only things that can cause their Onion to do so are boss corpses. After all, it does take incredible energy to move between dimensions. Pikmin will carry boss corpses near the Onions, but refuse to take them to the onions unless there is a Dimensional Pikmin with them. Onion Priority goes to them, no matter what. The only exclusion to this rule is when there are 100 in existence already. The Master Onion can only take so much dimensional energy after all, and too much in such a cramped space could lead to "Minor Side Effects". The reason why dimensional rifts don't shatter space-time or something is because it is at maximum formed from the energy that can be stored in 100 Darkmin, and no more, being used for a specific purpose and not just sitting around like a large pile of nuclear bombs crammed into a closet, weighing 496 pounds sitting on top of the detonation button that can only be pressed by something weighing 496 pounds with a feather on top of it. If they are killed, Most things in about a five Pikmin radius die as well, due the fact that killing a living dimensional energy battery is essentialy the equivalent of popping a water balloon filled with acid in that both are filled with danger, both are very fragile, and both not exactly being the smartest creatures that have lived on the planet.

Dimensional Pikmin are a Pikmin type that play a major role in Pikmin: Dual Worlds. They have black skin and lime-green eyes. Their importance lies in their ability to, if enough are available, close wormholes leading to the depths of outer space and, at flower-stage maturity, open ones to a parallel dark world. Dimensional Pikmin are flowered not by nectar but by closing rifts by absorbing their energy. Similarly to how White Pikmin can sense objects buried in the ground, Dimensional Pikmin can sense and even interact with objects present in a parallel world but not the current one, essentially acting as a dimensional anchor to transfer them between worlds. To compensate for their abilities, Dimensional Pikmin require the nutrient-rich corpses of bosses to propagate through their Onion. Unless one hundred Dimensional Pikmin exist, Dimensional Pikmin have priority over all Pikmin types while carrying objects, and other Pikmin carrying a boss corpse will refuse to take them to their respective Onions, as the Master Onion can only withstand so much dimensional energy and more than that in such a small space could be disastrous. When a Dimensional Pikmin dies, it implodes, instantly killing most living beings in a short range.
