The Ridge Mounticlops is a continentia in Pikmin: Dual Worlds that serves as the boss of Silverlake Summit. Found at the tops of mountains, it is large and quite tall and has a spiraling path up to its bulb, which is teal at the bottom and mintier at the top, with a gradient in the middle, and has dark bluish teal foliage on top. To mount the creature, attack its hooves, which are less resistant to damage than those of its marshy relative. Alcoves dot the occasionally icy wall next to the path, and the creature's bulb is protected by both ice and crystal. The Ridge Mounticlops' tongue can reach the entire length of its body and can rotate one thousand eighty degrees in an upwards spiral from its base to its top. The alcoves on its body provide no protection from its tongue. Where ice is present on the creature's body, there are bare Burgeoning Spiderworts on the outer edge of the path; it uses these as bases for the walls and does not eat them because of this, only the berries. Any surface the Ridge Mounticlops licks becomes frozen, and when licking a part of the path, it becomes a slippery slide that no Pikmin can scale. To avoid the tongue, fall to a lower layer of the path, or walk off the beast entirely. When the Ridge Mounticlops is about to use its tongue, all three of its eyes move on their long eyestalks to get a close look at its prey. Hitting an eye temporarily halts the creature's licking attack for five seconds, and after this, its tongue moves at an incredible speed. If all three of its eyes are hit, the crystal and ice covering its bulb shatter instantly, causing the behemoth to tilt in a direction to force its attackers off. After reaching half-health, the Ridge Mounticlops begins to spit one boulder every twenty seconds, and after reaching one-eighth health, the frequency is reduced to ten seconds. The alcoves provide protection from the boulders. After its defeat, the Ridge Mounticlops' corpse becomes a permanent part of the landscape, with several 1-Pellet Posies appearing around the base of the creature, the spiderworts yielding berries, and a 20-Pellet Posy appearing at the top, where the creature's bulb once sat.

The Ridge Mounticlops is found at the tops of mountains. It is large even for Continentia. It is quite tall, and has a spiraling path up to it's bulb, which is light blue at the bottom and white at the top, with a gradient in the middle. It's path occasionally has small divots in the wall, similar to the path to get the zest bomb from the Distant Tundra in Pikmin 3, but less extreme. It protects itself with icy walls and a tongue that it can not only rotate 720 degrees, but 1080 degrees in an upwards spiral from the bottom of the spiral path leading from the base of it up to it's bulb, which is covered in both Ice and Crystal. The divots in the wall of the path will not protect you from it's tongue attack. At the locations in which the ice walls are found, there are berryless Burgeoning Spiderworts on the outer edge of the path. It uses these as bases for the walls, and does not eat them because of this, only the berries. When it licks the path, it freezes, becoming a slippery slide that all Pikmin will slide down. If you are on the beast whilst it is using it's tongue, walk off of it, or walk off the edge onto a lower layer after the tongue is past that layer. Whenever it is about to use it's tongue attack all three eyes will move into your field of vision on their long stems to look at you. If you manage to hit one of them, it's tongue attack will pause for five seconds, then continue at an incredible speed. If you manage to hit all three eyes, it's crystal and the ice covering it will shatter instantly. Any time you break an ice wall, it gets up and tilts, knocking you off. It's hooves can't take as much of a beating as it's marshy relatives. At half health, it can spit boulders out of the area of it's mouth just below it's peak, once every 20 seconds, and at an eighth of it's health it can spit them once every ten seconds. Said boulders can't reach you in the divots. It serves as the area boss of Silverlake Summit. After defeat, it's corpse becomes a permanent part of the landscape, with 1 Pellet Posys appearing around the base of the creature, the berries on the Spiderworts growing back, and a 20 Pellet Posy at the top, where the creature's bulb once sat. Image will be finished later.
