Jumbo Bulborbs are giant Red Bulborbs and are never seen asleep. To hunt, they either patrol an area or hide within some vegetation as an ambush tactic. Upon spotting Pikmin or leaders, a Jumbo Bulborb will run toward them, scream, and then proceed to lunge at them three times in an attempt to eat them. If it manages to catch any, it will stand up and eat them; otherwise, it will trip and try again. If a lot of Pikmin are attacking it, it will shake them off and then immediately begin lunging.
