The soundtrack of Pikmin: Interstellar Cryptid can be unlocked for listening after collection of a specific ship part. After that point, it remains permanently unlocked and could be either accessed in between days through that ship part on the S.S. Lacewing or an option on the file selection screen. Generally, the soundtrack of Pikmin: Interstellar Cryptid takes inspiration from the native cultures its five main areas represent, although certain cave themes are inspired by early 2000s electronic music.

The accompanying DLC, Operation: Rubber Ducky Overboard, also features an entirely new set of songs that could be listened to in the sound test.
