The Glacialbelly Douphin is an enemy in Pikmin: Shipwrecked Stargazers resembling a fat, bitterling-like fish with ice crystals on its body. They patrol the waters, and spit rolling, jack-shaped ice crystals that burst into freezing cold mist when colliding with leaders or Pikmin. These jacks can also roll out of the water, and only stop when they hit a wall or enemy. After Pikmin are frozen, it will eat them until they are thawed out. The ice crystals on its belly make it invulnerable anywhere beyond its sides or back. These crystals thaw out when it is defeated.

- “Glacialbelly douphins remain inactive during the warmer months and breed as the cold season comes to a close. Using a special freezing agent in their body, they have control over the temperature of the surrounding water. This freezing agent is secreted through their belly and can be spat out from the esophagus, both in the name of defense.”
