“ | Under the lid of this cave is a repertoire of history. They say there are spirits living within that have mingled with the bygone inhabitants in the distant past. Are the piercing black eyes on the walls those of either? It is likely. Welcome to the Hall of Dreams... | ” | – Cave brochure |

Hall of Dreams is the second cave in Sweltering Field in Pikmin: Interstellar Cryptid. It is a cave of red stone with incredibly rugged terrain. It features multiple visual pieces inspired by The Dreaming, complete with numerous pieces of wall resembling kangaroos, wallabies, emus, bilbies, echidnas, kookaburras, and even some mythological figures such as the rainbow serpent and wandjina. The result resembles the Primordial Pit from Pikmin: Shipwrecked Stargazers, albeit with a basis in actual culture compared to the murals depicting various Pikmin enemies in the former. Completion of this cave to its full extent will net the "Baron of the Bush" badge.
How to reach
The cave's entrance is not too far from the Sweltering Field's landing site, guarded by a Geegant. However, because a Fearbloom sprouts within the cave's entrance, it can not be accessed until Pumpkin Pikmin are discovered in Squash Stronghold.

The first sublevel is surprisingly open, with a gaggle of enemies within the main circular chamber. The Joustmite, Dwarf Orange Bulborbs, Decorated Cannon Larva, and Bugle Stakeshrews are congesting, but with proper manipulation of the homing boulders, they can be picked off easily. The Decorated Cannon Larva holds a Lesser Mock Bottom as a reward. A pathway with fire geysers leads to a T-junction; to the left is a chamber with an Ornate Croasac and the next hole, and to the right is a Whiptongue Bulborb and Creeping Chrysanthemum. They both guard a bunch of Dusk Pustules.
Sublevel 2
- Theme: Aboriginal cave
- Music: Ancestral Origins
- Ship parts:
- Fruit:
- Zest Bomb × 1
- Enemies:
- Bearded Amprat × 2
- Blisterbomber × 1
- Blister Larva × indefinite (if Blisterbomber is active)

- Vegetation:
- Onion Motel × 1 (contains ten Yellow Pikmin)
- Obstacles:

There are two layers to this sublevel. The squad lands on the uppermost layer with a few Young Flinghorns and a Blisterbomber that holds a Zest Bomb. Behind the landing site is a curved pathway leading down to an arena with a Bearded Amprat and Porquillion. However, an electric gate blocks this pathway, so if there are no Yellow Pikmin, a different path must be taken. This alternate path is through a didgeridoo objects can not be brought through. After the Porquillion is defeated, it drops the Dentatron 5000 and an Onion Motel with Yellow Pikmin inside becomes active to allow for easy transport.
Sublevel 3
- Theme: Aboriginal cave
- Music: Ancestral Origins

This sublevel is especially large. It consists of two abnormally large chambers with lakes of mud. There are many Secluded Sundrops lying about. However, some Thieving Snagpies are quick to eat them if the squad doesn't act fast. One of the nectar eggs holds a Sunsquish instead, so it's best to be cautious. An Iridescent Flint Grub can supply the missing nectar instead. In the first, and bigger, of the two chambers, a clay bridge can be built to a shore with three Flighty Dimuneeps guarding the Lost Cushion. Thankfully, an Iridescent Flint Beetle is hidden under a green Common Glowcap. If it is released, it can be used to distract the birds.
Sublevel 4

This sublevel starts in a spiraling pathway leading down to an arena with three Bugle Stakeshrews surrounding a massive Tuba Stakeshrew. Sublevel 5
- Theme: Aboriginal cave
- Music: Ancestral Origins
- Fruit:
- Pocked Airhead × 1
- Scaly Custard × 1
- Enemies:
- Arachnode × 1
- Black Ujadani × 30

Before the main sublevel can even be entered, an Arachnode that built its web in front of the landing site must be dealt with or else the entire squad might risk walking into a death trap. The main sublevel is home to a colony of Black Ujadani. They have a Pocked Airhead in their hole, but force any excavating Pikmin out of it. They must all be defeated first, preferably with an ice blast. Once the colony is dealt with, the Pocked Airhead can be attained. A Fiery Bulblax blocks access to a small chamber with two Pumpkin Candypop Buds. A resting Mamuta provides a hotspot for White Spectralids holding raw materials, and a Creeping Glowcap has ingested a Scaly Custard.
Sublevel 6
- Theme: Aboriginal cave
- Music: Encroaching Disaster (before boss appears), Boss - Australian Mix (during boss battle), none (after defeat of boss)
- Ship parts:
- Fruit:
- Wayward Moon × 1
- Enemies:
- Fossorial Slapvipe × 2
- Frilled Slapvipe × 1
- Honeywisp × 2
- Vegetation:
- Fiddlehead × 5
- Red Mushroom × 3
- Obstacles:
- Numbered gate × 1
- Tunnel × 1
The boss of this cave will strike fear into all but Pumpkin Pikmin due to its magnificent frill. The terrain is remarkably similar to the final sublevel of the Fang Chute from Pikmin: Shipwrecked Stargazers, but the loading zone to the second half is instead a standard tunnel, and the entire sublevel is one segment. The Frilled Slapvipe drops the Steering Prodigy upon defeat. There is also a Wayward Moon buried roughly where the Purple Pikmin's Onion was in the original cave. The Pikmin carrying it will manage to slip it through the tunnel in a rather comedic display, with the melon shrinking to fit.
