The Valley of Harvest is the second area in the Pikmin: Interstellar Cryptid DLC Operation: Rubber Ducky Overboard. It takes place within a forest surrounding a rural farmhouse in Japan. The terrain in this area leans more towards the vertical side, with many steep slopes above a sizeable river. However, it does not get as intense as Verdant Ridgeland will later in the game. Introduced in this area are both Fox Pikmin and Moss. The former's Onion is surrounded by an oil slick that Black Pikmin must destroy to let it heal from the toxic, astringent fumes of the oil. The latter is under a stoop, starved and disheveled. If a scrummy bone is crafted, it can be used to heal her, causing the space dog to join the Koppaites. Vegetation includes bamboo, ginkgo and cherry trees, sunflowers and chrysanthemum plants.
