Golden Spring is the first area in the Pikmin: Interstellar Cryptid DLC Operation: Rubber Ducky Overboard. Located in the northwestern United States of America, it is where the Koppaite crew of Alph, Brittany, and Captain Charlie begin their search for the captain's prized rubber ducky. It is also where they first encounter Louie, who they suspect of holding out on them. It is a massive river with a rocky shore bordering a mountainous pine forest. After Diver Pikmin have been discovered, much of the area's immense body of water can be explored. Black Pikmin are first discovered, with their Onion anchored to a puddle of tar.
