Female Sheargrubs, unlike the members of the opposing gender, are scavengers and do not attack leaders or Pikmin but will still chase them. Their behavior, along with their light pink color and relatively small jaws, is the most distinctive difference between males and females of the species. As with Male Sheargrubs, however, they destroy stick bridges. Female Sheargrubs regenerate health when they are underground, just like Male Sheargrubs, and can fully heal themselves in seconds. When their health is very low, they will bury themselves and recover, and when they regenerate enough health, they emerge and continue their chase if there are leaders or Pikmin nearby.
Female Sheargrubs are mandiblards that, unlike the members of the opposing gender, are scavengers. They do not attack leaders or Pikmin, although they still chase them. Their behavior, along with their light pink color and relatively small jaws, is the most distinctive difference between males and females of the species. As with Male Sheargrubs, however, they chew apart stick bridges, stopping only if they are confronted or reduce the bridge to the bundle it was initially found as. In p3, Female Sheargrubs regenerate health when they are underground, just like Male Sheargrubs, and can fully heal themselves in thirty seconds. When their health is at twenty percent or lower, they will return to their nest to bury and recover, and when they regenerate to fifty percent, they emerge and continue their chase, if there are leaders or Pikmin nearby.

This creature is the most common creatures. I used to think that Red Bulborbs and Dwarf Red Bulborbs were the most common but I was sure wrong this time. This is because everywhere I go I see at least one female Sheargrub. Anyways these things are well known as plant eaters and so are harmless. These creatures don’t don’t have any defense mechanism against any predators except for burrowing underground. These creatures lifespan are pretty short so after a few days they need to start reproducing fast and quick should they need to find a Male Sheargrub and mate as quick as It can.

In Pikmin 3, Female Sheargrubs regenerate health when they are underground, just like Male Sheargrubs, and can fully heal themselves in thirty seconds. When their health is at twenty percent or lower, they will return to their nest to bury and recover, and when they regenerate to fifty percent, they emerge and continue their chase, if there are leaders or Pikmin nearby.

Notes

Olimar's notes

"The males of this species are purple and black creatures with tapered mouths, while the females are lighter in color and lack an armored exoskeleton. As with most mandiblards, these creatures have regressed to the point where they have lost both legs and wings. They can be seen crawling around on the ground and are believed to feed on the vegetable extracts from the congealed fluids of expired Pikmin."

Louie's notes

"For an unforgettable quiche, slice this creature up and mix with four eggs, two vine-ripened tomatoes, diced zucchini, and generous handfuls of feta and swiss. Bake until crusty and golden. This beast is most flavorful if caught and cooked just after laying its eggs."
