The Cursed Pikmin, also known as Sky Pikmin or Periwinkle Pikmin, is a Pikmin type appearing in Pikmin 2... Again?. They resemble sky-blue Pikmin and have tired-looking, baggy eyes, and they make no noise or have any animation other than the basic ones, making them unique. Cursed Pikmin appear in select Timed Mode stages, and in Versus Mode through the Cursed Wand item, which temporarily transforms enemy Pikmin into Cursed Pikmin. The Cursed Wand also appears in Story Mode but Cursed Pikmin cannot be obtained there in any other way. They have the worst attributes of any Pikmin, lacking any hazard resistances, having little damage output, low movement and hitting speed, poor throw distance and height, poor digging skill, and, in most stages, being unable to carry objects or enemy corpses. Usually, stages that feature Cursed Pikmin have candypop buds that they can be thrown into to convert them to relatively better Pikmin.
In Timed Mode's masochist difficulty of the boss rush, Cursed Pikmin are the only usable type, and King Candypop Buds produce only them.
