The Chocolate Candypop Bud is a candypop appearing in Pikmin 2... Again?. It resembles others of its kind but has brown petals. They are only found in caves just like the other candypop buds. They can convert five Pikmin into Brown Pikmin before wilting, becoming unusable until the sublevel is revisited.

The Umber Candypop Bud is a candypop bud appearing in Pikmin 3. It is used to propagate Brown Pikmin, up to five per specimen, and its presence is often signaled by the existence of tunnels or pits that lead to the next sublevel, or a loose soil pit present near an escape geyser. Umber Candypop Buds are somewhat useful as some caves require Brown Pikmin to progress but are in clear or muddy water.

The Supernova Candypop Bud is a member of the candypop family appearing in Pikmin 3: The Dweevil's Revenge's Pit of 100 Trials. It is used to convert up to five Pikmin into Brown Pikmin, which share the color of the candypop's petals. The Supernova Candypop Bud is named after how the silk of Brown Pikmin make them resistant to explosions, and as such, the flowers are common in the territories of Man-at-Legs', Gatling Groinks, and other sources of explosions.
