This is the Piklopedia, a list of enemies, vegetation, hazards, obstacles, and more, of Pikmin 2... Again?. They are logged when found or defeated, depending on what it is. Enemies were made more realistic, such as the beeb family being organic rather than robots, as well as given more details, such as the Man-at-Legs' gun overheating rather than suddenly ceasing fire. Bulbmin were also reworked to make them more realistic. Enemies also are given more life and personality, such as the Red Bulborb, which will get an angry look when spotting Pikmin and leaders. Similarly, Pikmin will have different facial expressions depending on what is happening around them, for example, their eyes will widen if they are affected by most hazards.
Each of the three leaders' notes and the ship's notes focus on a particular aspect of each entry:
- Captain Olimar: the name, family, and scientific name of a species and details about it.
- Louie: recipes or its uses for his recipes.
- The President: its values and uses.
- Hocotate Ship: miscellaneous thoughts.
- Cosmicaptain: thoughts about the species.
- Unknown commenter: comments.
