The Brute-at-Legs is a clone of the Man-at-Legs appearing in Pikmin 2... Again?. It is a larger clone of the Man-at-Legs, resembling a giant, quadruped, Arachnid, being biomechanical, the Brute-at-Legs' body is covered in metallic platings, many exhaust pipes that conitnously release smoke, and even a red valve on top of it. The Brute-at-Legs also has four legs, but all are mechanical and end in also metallic flat foots that can crush Pikmin similar to other arachnorb species, and those foots also having six metallic, nail-like, spikes. Additionally the Brute-at-Legs has a machine gun-like weapon inside its body, overall, it is similar to the Raging Long Legs-like Man-at-Legs from Pikmin 2: Man-at-Legs Testing Facility. The Brute-at-Legs will break through a wall from the right, just to it then to be covered by a huge boulder shortly after. The Brute-at-Legs moves as fast as the original Man-at-Legs, making it dangerous due to it being able to crush Pikmin, and after it stops to rest, or after it shakes Pikmin off, it'll open the four sides of its underbelly to reveal a gun before starting to shooting lots of explosive bullets toward the nearest Pikmin and leaders, and their explosion radius is larger than the average, but not as the Tank-at-Legs. The Brute-at-Legs is also resistant, making it hard. Once defeated the Brute-at-Legs will explode only leaving the Brute-at-Legs Trophy.

Man-at-Long-Legs is a sub-species of the Man-at-Legs that had been alive for a very long time. It is much more powerful in comparison to the regular Man-at-Legs and stands nearly 1.5 times the size of a Sovereign Bulblax from ground to torso. As this biomechanical beast grew older, it had evolved a much greater weapon that fires much faster than it once did before, along with the ability to launch bomb rocks and crush Pikmin.

Man-at-Long-Legs shares a resemblance to Man-at-Legs, but as if it looked much older, rustier, and dirty. It has much larger and more robotic looking legs, a bunch of long twisted and bent pipes coming out of its back, a spike on each side of its hexagonal feet, more holes revealing yellow glowing organic matter, and three red spraypainted letters on the front of its orb-shaped torso, referencing the acronyms of the username of the artist who drew the Man-at-Long-Legs art. There is also a dark red valve at the top of its orby torso which likely controls the gas that is released from the pipes.

There is also a dark red valve at the top of its spherical torso which likely controls the gas that is released from the pipes.

The Man-at-Long-Legs is known to act as a leader for its group of Man-at-Legs and other Man-at-Legs subspecies due to it being the most powerful of its group. Man-at-Long-Legs follows the nearest target while moving at half the speed of Groovy Long Legs' red phase. Because of how tall the boss is, it'll need the use of Yellow or Winged Pikmin to reach its torso. It is suggested that you try to call Pikmin back before it shakes them off that way they'll have more time to gather them up before Man-at-Long-Legs brings out its minigun. Dodging its projectiles isn't too hard, but it's still a good idea to hide behind the durable obstacles scattered near the walls of the arena. Reaching the next phase should take about two minutes as long as they repeat the process of attacking it, calling your Pikmin before they get shaken off, and avoiding the projectiles of the minigun.

Because of how tall the boss is, only Yellow Pikmin and Winged Pikmin can reach its torso. Calling Pikmin off of it before it can shake them off is recommended, as doing so allows ample time to round up any stray Pikmin and flee before it begins firing. Dodging its projectiles isn't too hard, but it's still a good idea to hide behind the durable obstacles scattered near the outskirts of the arena. Reaching the next phase should take about two minutes with optimal performance.

At its second phase, the Man-at-Long-Legs will move slightly faster than it did in its first phase, and will start to use a bomb rock launcher after using it's minigun. Try the same attack process from its first phase, but this time also make sure to be aware about how far it can throw its bomb rocks and that they'll instantly explode upon contact, but only one will be thrown at a time, and it'll only fire a couple.

At its third and last phase, the Man-at-Long-Legs will move slightly faster than it did in its second phase, and will start to use the minigun and the bomb rock launcher at the same time. It is suggested to use ultra-spicy spray for this phase, as they'll have less time to attack the boss before it starts using its weapons.

The Brute-at-Legs is a Man-at-Legs variant appearing in Pikmin 2... Again?, exclusively in the Pikmin 2: Man-at-Legs Testing Facility-like mode of Timed Mode. It is like a Man-at-Legs, being a biomechanical quadrupedal spider-like creature covered in yellow metal plating, but several times the size. It also has many more exhaust pipes that constantly emit smoke. The most striking difference, however, is that all four of its legs are larger and mechanical, with four wide, flat feet that each have six metallic, nail-like spikes all around them. The Brute-at-Legs initially appears by breaking through a wall from the right side of its chamber, with a large boulder blocking the hole shortly afterward. The creature moves as quickly as the original Man-at-Legs, making it dangerous due to it being able to crush Pikmin under its feet. After it stops to rest or shakes Pikmin off, it'll open the four panels on its underbelly to reveal a gun before starting to shoot lots of explosive bullets toward the nearest Pikmin and leaders, and their explosion radius is larger than average, but not to the degree of the Tank-at-Legs'. The Brute-at-Legs is also damage-resistant, making it even harder to kill. Once defeated, the Brute-at-Legs will explode, only leaving the Brute-at-Legs Trophy.

The Man-at-Long-Legs is a subspecies of the Man-at-Legs that has been alive for a very long time. It is much more powerful in comparison to the regular Man-at-Legs and stands nearly 1.5x the size of a Sovereign Bulblax from ground to torso. As this biomechanical beast grew older, it evolved a much greater weapon that fires much faster than it did before, along with the ability to launch bomb rocks and crush Pikmin.

The Man-at-Long-Legs shares a resemblance to Man-at-Legs, but is much older, rustier, and dirtier. It has much larger and more robotic-looking legs, a bunch of long, twisted, and bent pipes coming out of its top, a spike on each side of its hexagonal feet, more holes revealing yellow glowing organic matter, and three red spraypainted letters on the front of its orb-shaped torso referencing the acronym of the username of its creator. There is also a dark red valve at the top of its spherical torso which likely controls the gas that is released from the pipes.

The Man-at-Long-Legs is known to act as a leader for its group of Man-at-Legs and other Man-at-Legs subspecies due to it being the most powerful of its group. The Man-at-Long-Legs follows the nearest target while moving at half the speed of the Groovy Long Legs' red phase.

In its second phase, the Man-at-Long-Legs will move slightly faster than it did in its first phase and will start to use a bomb rock launcher after using its minigun. It will fire a few bomb rocks, but only one at a time. Repeat the same attack strategy from its first phase, but this time also be aware of how far it can fire bomb rocks and that they'll instantly explode upon impact.

In its third and final phase, the Man-at-Long-Legs will move slightly faster than it did in its second phase, and will start to use the minigun and the bomb rock launcher at the same time. It is suggested to use ultra-spicy spray for this phase, as Pikmin will have less time to attack the boss before it starts using its weapons.

Notes

Olimar's notes

Some people may say that the Man-at-Long-Legs is an elder Man-at-Legs or a subspecies of it. Well, as it turns out, this biomechanical beast is in fact an elder subspecies of the Man-at-Legs. What it would look like before it became an elder is currently unknown, but that's not really all that important for now. The Man-at-Long-Legs is known to lead a small group, or what people like to call an "army" of any kind of Man-at-Legs', and prefers to be in the front when it comes to battle, or sometimes, there are Man-at-Long-Legs' that prefer to work alone to reduce battle with Pikmin so it can rest more easily without disruptions. The bloodline of the Man-At-Long-Legs is most similar to the original Man-at-Legs, hence the similar appearance with their orby torsos. Sheesh... I am really mentioning Man-at-Legs quite a bit here.

Louie's notes

The oily yellow stuff in its metallic body isn't that suitable for gravy, but it can still be used as a dip for your chicken nuggets, french fries, and even nachos too! It kind of tastes like Worcestershire sauce mixed with chicken.

The President's notes

Imagine the amount of resources we could get from this! Finally, we don't need to put too many pokos into affording metal! But we need to take down this beast first, and it won't be easy...

Saltee's notes

The real question is, how in the world did this giant creature-machine thing evolve to grow these extra non-organic parts onto its body? Especially its weapons! HOW did this giant cyborg monster spider thingy grow these things onto its body!? Aside from all that nonsense, this would be a PERFECT boss battle in the video game that I'm working on with my friend!

Dylan's notes

Not joking, this thing looks like it came from a video game. Talk about video games, I've been working on a game about the Pikmin. Olimar, your son might love the game! Saltee and I might need to give him an early access copy of it!

Millbury's notes

Remember, you people are about the size of a coin on this planet, and I'm many times that size (not being rude to anyone). And this thing is about the size of a tree stump, at least one that would be at least close to the size of the Man-at-Long-Legs. I am physically able to stomp on it and kill it that way, but I need to make sure it doesn't freaking shoot at me in the darn process!
