The Monster Sewerat is a species of numbouse appearing in Pikmin 2... Again?. Monster Sewerat first appears in the Meadow of Memory in the Tunnel of Horror. They are guinea pig-like creature covered entirely in a thick fur, with its fur covering its mouth, and being gray, messy, and dirty, resembling the Bearded Amprat. However, the Monster Sewerats are larger, and more aggresive, being red eyes, and four green, frog-like legs, its front legs having four toes, and the back legs having two toes. The Monster Sewerat is much tougher than its cousin, it will swim through the toxic water of the sewer, before it then jumps out of the water, once it comes out, it'll be covered in poison and it'll chase Pikmin and leaders aggresively, eating caught Pikmin and biting leaders, no Pikmin but the White Pikmin and Glow Pikmin can damage it in his state, they'll be poisoned by the toxic water around it. After some seconds, its poison will disappear and it'll move at a normal pace, however, it'll shake, splashing water droplets around itself, drowning Pikmin but the Blue Pikmin and Glow Pikmin, and its fur gets fluffy, after this, it'll chase Pikmin and leaders. The Monster Sewerat is more aggresive than the Bearded Amprat, making it a formidable foe.

The Monster Sewerat is inspired by the generic sewer rats, which are commonly depicted as gray rats that live on sewers, usually being shown with a messy fur, in contrast to the domestic rats. Opposite to the Bearded Amprat.
