Rock Pikmin can not damage it by hitting its beak. Be wary of the snagret's tendencies to burrow back underground after lodging its beak into the ground and catching thrown Pikmin in its beak.

Notes

Olimar's notes

This creature, Mortemclavum anacondii, otherwise known as the Death Spiked Burrowing Snagret, is a snavian infected with a DeathSpike fragment. These poor creatures produce the signature snavian shrieks except the sounds seem doubled. Its attacks include burrowing into the ground and rushing up with its beak. Other times they will take their spikes and slam their body above ground onto the pikmin or captains with its spikes. Any pikmin that makes contact will immediately get killed. Spike pikmin can be thrown directly on the spikes, and while it is busy trying to get the spike pikmin off, you can rush with winged pikmin at its feathery head. Or, you can take your regular pikmin and command them to rush the bottom part that is closest to the ground. You can help them by killing them as soon as possible. They are horrifying creatures, especially to red pikmin.

Louie's notes

Remove spikes and have a delicious poultry stew.
