The Fluorescent Long Legs is a species of arachnorb appearing in Pik. Unlike other arachnorbs, it can produce light that can blind Pikmin and blur the vision of leaders. When its health is low, it will turn pink. It doesn't appear during the day, making it rare. It appears in caves and night expeditions.

- “During the day, these artificial-looking arachnorbs will hide from the sun and sleep until it's night. Slightly before sunset, they crawl on trees and wait for any curious creatures to go under the light. This glowing arachnorb's lights can change color but normally they are green.”

The Luminous Long Legs is a miniboss found in the Karst of Gales in Pikmin X: Deep Freeze. Structurally similar to its close relative, the Beady Long Legs, this arachnorb's exoskeleton is a shiny black color, and its head, feet, and the joints of its legs can glow brightly. In particular, whenever this creature stomps the ground, it creates a small flash of light that startles Pikmin within the radius and sends them scattering; whistle them to bring them to their senses before they blunder under a crushing foot. The Luminous Long Legs' head can also flash in the same way, but it only does so to shake off attacking Pikmin. Upon death, it leaves no salvageable corpse, as its remains simply crumble to dust, but it does drop whatever it was carrying beforehand.
