The Battering Groink is a groink appearing in Pikmin Z. It looks fairly similar to the Gatling Groink but is slightly larger and has smooth, blue skin, a facial shield resembling silver rather than glass, and shorter exhaust pipes. Its diet and predators are unknown. Battering Groinks are a rather interesting type of biomechanical creature only found during the day, as opposed to the night-only Gatling Groink. While it is unable to shoot projectiles, it's still just as dangerous because once a Pikmin or a leader enters its vicinity, it will proceed to charge at a fast speed directly into them. This is especially dangerous as it can launch Pikmin into hazards, or kill them by crushing them against a wall. If two are present in the same area, both Battering Groinks can ram into each other, killing whatever's in between the two by crushing them.
