The '''Peacap Puffstalk''' is a species of [[sporovid family|Sporovid]] appearing in [[Pikmin Evolution]]. It has the same color scheme as it was planned to have when it was supposed to first appear, but with a darker tint to its green cap. Like its close relative the basic [[Puffstalk]], the Peacap Puffstalk lives inside holes located on the edges of cliffs and ravines, usually over an [[abyss]]. And like its more common brethren it can either be a single individual who lives across multiple holes or live in groups with each having their own personal hole. The Peacap Puffstalk differs from its common relative in its battle tactics, rather than crush Pikmin, the Peacap Puffstalk shoves them forward with great force, while this attack doesn't kill Pikmin, the force is so great they will be guaranteed to be thrown off the edge and often into the abyss. Some Peacap Puffstalk are situated in ways where they shove enemies towards your squad as a sneak attack, similar to how some enemies will randomly fall from the sky in other games. The Peacap Puffstalk can also be found in mounds on the ground, where crossing them will cause your squad to fly upwards and leave your Pikmin in a [[panic]]. Life the normal Puffstalk, the Peacap needs to be pulled out of its hole in order to defeat it, however this time 15 Pikmin are required to pull it out due to having an even sturdier root structure than the common Puffstalk. However like the common variant the Peacap will fly out of its hole when pulled out, leaving no visible corpse to collect and only a few tiny seeds of [[sparklium]]. However the ones stuck in the ground can't be pulled out due to being too fast to pull out, leaving them as obstacles you must avoid. While the Peacap Puffstalk may not be more dangerous than its normal counterpart, its still a surprise threat you must account for.' | |||

The Peacap Puffstalk is a small sporovid found in the files of Hey! Pikmin. It was apparently to be a variant of the Puffstalk and appears identically to it except for its green cap and antennae. It would have walked about rather than appearing from holes in walls.
