The Golden Candypop Bud is a yellow-petaled candypop bud that behaves just like any other candypop bud but changes Pikmin thrown into them into Yellow Pikmin. Yellow Pikmin that are thrown in are reverted to the leaf stage and don't count against the five-Pikmin limit per candypop bud.

Within the petals of a Golden Candypop Bud are juices five times more basic than water, meaning they are incredibly corrosive and highly dangerous.
