The Bilious Bulborb is the largest of all the common Bulbots. Upon entering its arena, the mechanical beast will awaken and the battle will begin with a roar. Rather than charging towards Leaders and Pikmin as most other Bulbots do, the Bilious Bulbot will instead stand in place and spit spiked balls out of its mouth that roll in the direction it is facing. These spiked balls travel in a straight line if there are no slopes that could interfere with their direction, and crush anything in their path. The best way to defeat this creature is with multiple Pikmin squads, as getting behind it can be difficult. As with other mechanical enemies like it, the Bilious Bulbot can only be damaged with Bomb-rocks, Rock Pikmin, or a similar Pikmin variety because of its glass weak points. Once the enemy has taken enough damage, it will become enraged and begin to move faster. Like all other common Bulbots, the Bilious Bulbot will collapse and explode shortly after death.
The Metal Bulborb appears in Pikmin Sunshine. It uses the metallics pads on its body to make Pikmin stick to it by means of magnetism. To be able to defeat it, damage the metal pads until they fall off of the creature.
