The Crumbug is a small, more cuboid breadbug that quickly eats Pikmin. It wanders about its territory and turns around upon reaching a wall. If it falls to a lower elevation, it won't be able to climb back up and will continue to pace there.

Attacks Eats Pikmin

The Crumbug is a small breadbug in Pikmin: Decayed Leaf. The creature resembles its original counterpart in Hey! Pikmin. The small creature will usually only be found coming out of a breadbug den. After appearing, they will wander around or follow any Breadbugs. Although Crumbugs can not carry objects, they can eat Pikmin, and at a rapid pace. Fortunately, a Crumbug can be killed in one hit, allowing for any Pikmin to be saved before being eaten. Sometimes, Crumbugs can be found outside of breadbug dens, where they will patrol a set path.

Notes

Olimar's notes

The juvenile state of a Breadbug before maturity. During this time, they usually spend their time inside dens, waiting for Breadbugs to bring food in for them. But as they mature, they will travel outside of their home to go and eat Pikmin and other smaller bugs. Over time, they develop their hide and begin to progress to a more scavenger lifestyle.

Louie's notes

Unfortunately, there is not much you can do with the Breadbug family due to their bland taste. However, these smaller creatures can be repurposed into croutons with the right seasoning.

President’s notes

These small critters don't seem to have the keen nose to sense treasure, unlike their larger brothers. Although they do taste nice after Louie cooked one up for me! I'm surprised he can take the most disgusting creatures and create culinary masterpieces out of them.
