The Floataswine is a seemingly aquatic blowhog found in the files of Hey! Pikmin. It is partially transparent except for its blue stripes, yellow eyes and whiskers, and red-tripped trunk. It apparently would have swum about in water, charged at leaders, and inhaled Pikmin.

The Floataswine is a new enemy in Pikmin: Decayed Leaf. The creature is a large, navy blue blowhog with a giant, red-tipped snout. Along with its pink stripes and underbelly, it has two long whiskers, two beady, yellow eyes, and a long, pinkish, translucent tail. The Floataswine can only be found swimming around in the water. It is entirely passive, fleeing from Pikmin that try to attack it. If attacked consistently, the Floataswine will leap out of the water and into the air, inflating to a massive size in the process. It will then begin to float in the air and inhale a large amount of water where Pikmin are located, sucking up the water and Pikmin in a vortex fashion. It will then spew the water and the Pikmin out of its snout and into the air, scattering the squad and potentially choking non-Blue Pikmin on the shore with water droplets. It's best to avoid angering the Floataswine at all costs. However, if it must be killed, weighing it down while it's inhaling by throwing Pikmin on it can cause it to come crashing back down into the water. Weighted Pikmin cannot be sucked up by the Floataswine's attack. A Dart Pikmin attack can cause the enemy to constantly lose health, while Cactus Pikmin can benefit from the water spat at the shore. When killed, the Floataswine deflates and shrinks in size exponentially.

The Floataswine is a relative of flying blowhogs in Pikmin X: Deep Freeze that adapted to life in the sea, becoming a catfish-like predator. Befitting of this reversal is this large blowhog's ability to pester Pikmin with powerful inhalations rather than exhalations, sucking several of them into its tubular snout. Bizarrely, instead of eating the captured Pikmin on the spot, the Floataswine chooses to spit them away from the active leader in rapid succession. To Blue Pikmin, this is merely a nuisance that may reduce them to the leaf stage, but the beast's habit of slurping up Pikmin straight from the shore and dumping them into the water makes it a danger to other Pikmin types, which may drown. The Floataswine can also deliver a weak electric shock through its barbels, which is enough to stun nearby Pikmin and leave them at the mercy of its suction attack.
