Fire geysers are holes that protrude from a surface and spew columns of fire at regular intervals. Unlike water geysers, fire geysers are harmful to Pikmin that are not Red Pikmin, and they also damage unprotected leaders. In some fanon games, fire geysers may be active at all times or embedded within bramble gates or stick bridges, necessitating the use of Red Pikmin.
In Pikmin 1 and Pikmin 3, fire geysers can not be destroyed, and in Pikmin 3 are only visible while shooting fire. In Pikmin 2 and Pikmin 4, fire geysers are damageable by any Pikmin type, and if destroyed, will permanently stop ejecting fire. Also in Pikmin 4, fire geysers spew fire in all directions rather than just upward. In Hey! Pikmin, fire geysers are very large and appear on both floors and ceilings.

In fanon games
Below this point is where users place their version of fire geysers.
In Pikmin V
This article or section presents information pertaining to Pikmin V, a fanon game created by En Passant. |
Fire geysers in Pikmin V spew fire continuously, preventing destruction by non-Red Pikmin. Alongside regular fire geysers, indestructible fire burners are introduced; the only way to deactivate them and allow passage is to find a valve to shut off the burner.
In Pikmin: Decayed Leaf
This article or section presents information pertaining to Pikmin: Decayed Leaf, a fanon game created by Soundwave. |
Fire geysers are a returning obstacle in Pikmin: Decayed Leaf. The small geysers now come in two different variations. One variant is destructible and periodically ejects bursts of flames. The other emits fire constantly and cannot be destroyed. Only Red Pikmin can withstand and destroy fire geysers due to their flame resistance.
In Pikmin: Shipwrecked Stargazers
This article or section presents information pertaining to Pikmin: Shipwrecked Stargazers, a fanon game created by CarrotStilts1. |
Fire geysers in Pikmin: Shipwrecked Stargazers are similar to how they are in Pikmin 3. Some of them are perpetually emitting flames, requiring Red Pikmin to get through them exclusively.
