The Greater Spotted Jellyfloat is a returning enemy in Pikmin: Decayed Leaf. The giant jellyfish retains its iconic appearance. The creature will wander about in the air until Pikmin or leaders are seen. It will then float over to them and suck them up. After 30 seconds, inhaled Pikmin will be digested and killed. Captains that are sucked up will weigh down the Jellyfloat and promptly be spat out. The best way to take down this creature is to weigh it down with many Pikmin. If Ice Pikmin freeze it, it will fall down and shatter instantly. A hit from a single Purple Pikmin can also weigh it down instantly. Dart Pikmin can cause it to slowly lose health, while Weighted Pikmin cannot be sucked up. When it dies, it harmlessly explodes, leaving nothing behind except a possible treasure or ingested Pikmin. | |||
